Hollow Hearts 14I cant BELIEVE you! Jane screamed. How am I supposed to trust you on this project?
But it was an accident! Clay insisted.
Im not sure I believe that, Jane said defensively.
What had happened was this: when Tar and I arrived on the scene, we found Gary cowering on the ground while Donald had his hands around Clays neck from the back. Clay had accidentally pointed his gun at Gary, and Donald had jumped on him and screamed to throw off his aim.
You cant turn on us like that! Jane cried. How was I to know you werent about to shoot
Luminary Uprise 108108: Malicious Motherly Misunderstandings
A question, said Hook, staring out over the edge of his ship as Maleficent stayed at his side. If the natives are afraid of an attack by the Lost Boys and are ready to retaliate, and if the Lost Boys are afraid of an attack by the natives and are ready to make the first strike, who was the first to issue the threat?
Maleficent grinned coyly. It was I.
You sowed the seeds of distrust among them so theyd attack each other? Youre a more brilliant wench than Id thought!
Would you really expect anything less?
All of a s
Luminary Uprise 107107: Lost Boys, Found Girls
(A/N: yes, the Lost Boys will refer to the Natives as Injuns, cause thats just how they talk. But I actually intend to make note of that as part of the plot later. I hope no one is offended.)
A pirate ship drifted lazily along the coast of Neverland. There wasnt much left for the crew to do unless the quarry arrived. The Lost Boys, the Natives, the Mermaids, and those annoying girls couldnt take care of themselves without Pan in the vicinity; it was no problem to keep them under control.
Two figures stood at the edge of the deck. One looked out at the coast through a golden
Lightless 88: Kakariko Village
The three of us ended up in a fashion shop close to the edge of the village. Micaiah found her Dressphere right away, but Midna had to be picky.
What do you think of this one? she asked, twirling out in a blue gown with a swishy skirt. No, too frilly. She ducked into the fitting room and came out two seconds later with a black dress that revealed a bit of chest and a lot of leg. Hows this work?
You cant just pick one? Micaiah sighed.
I liked the green, I said. Can I see that one again?
I would have suggested turquoise, but that co
Lightless 77: Nobody
This time, the dream was different.
I was in a wood I didnt recognize. From a distance, I heard Links voice calling out to me: Rosa? Rosa, whered you go?
Stay back, said Ranulfs voice, coming out of a blue panthera panther whose fur matched Ranulfs hair.
I stepped forward and saw what Ranulf was warning me of.
A great wave rose out of Lake Hylia, nearly reaching the sky. A figure in black stood, facing the wave, before turning to me, his expression dead serious. I recognized it as Demyx, and his hand was outstretched to me.
I said stay BACK!
Lightless 66: Secret Ranulf Report
I met Peach and Micaiah at long last at Lake Hylia. Our little groupLink, those hed mentioned, three other boys called Squall, Marth, and Snake, a girl named Yuna, and myselfcurled up on the beach closest to the border of Gerudo. The warm desert winds blew down to us.
I sat with Micaiah and Peach. Micaiah was friendly but quiet. I quite enjoyed her company. Peach, on the other hand, was the cheerleader typebleached blond, dressed in all pink, and sporting fake fingernails. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this style but when its combined with an absolute brat, it gets to be
Do you know the taste of the universe? One day, when you’re five years old and made out of fractured sunlight and mirror shards, you sit down on the bench of the MAX train. You’re dressed in your winter coat and boots that are too big and one of your parents has pulled your hat too close over your ears.
You’re sitting next to your mother, and on the other side is a man that smells like loneliness, something that you’ll later know as cigarettes and alcohol and homelessness. He’s crying quietly into the top of his jacket and you’re scared to look because you’ve never seen an adult cry.
The train ride goes on for five minutes, which is a lo
